Workday spokesperson confirms outage

In a statement to The U.S. Sun, a Workday spokesperson said: "Due to a brief power outage at one of our data centers, some customers are currently experiencing a service interruption.

"Power has since been restored, and we are in the process of getting impacted customers back online as quickly as possible.

"We are providing regular updates to impacted customers."

Reports reach over 800

Issue reports on Downdetector have continued to rise Thursday morning.

As of 10 am, over 820 users reported problems with Workday.

Users flood X

Workday users have flooded X, formerly known as Twitter, to address problems with the online service.

Workers cannot use service

Workday users have taken to Downdetector to specify their problems.

One worker wrote: "I cannot login to my time clock to work since Workday is down."
